“Continuum Analytics has experienced great success as evidenced by the millions of downloads, extraordinary product and services growth in 2016 and Anaconda becoming the de facto Open Data Science platform for tech giants including Intel, IBM, Cloudera and Microsoft,” said Collison. “The data science market opportunity is pushing the boundaries at $140 billion and I’m excited to join the company and capitalize on my previous experience to manage this explosive growth and support its continued momentum.”

Nanci Caldwell

Talend has appointed Nanci Caldwell to its board of directors. Caldwell has spent over 20 years in the IT and software industry and was formerly the executive vice president and chief marketing officer at PeopleSoft. She spent the bulk of her career with Hewlett-Packard where she held a variety of senior positions. Caldwell currently sits on the boards of Citrix and Equinix; to name just a few.

“Organizations of all sizes and from all sectors are dealing with an unprecedented and growing explosion of data. The ability to harness the data, glean insights and use it for competitive advantage is quickly moving to the top of their strategic objectives,” said Caldwell. “Talend’s proven next-generation integration platform is uniquely positioned to enable organizations to capitalize on this transformational opportunity. I am looking forward to working together with Mike and the entire Talend team during this exciting time.”

Wooledge

Wooledge recently worked at MapR where he served as the vice president of product marketing and then as the vice president of product and digital marketing. Prior to MapR, Wooledge spent a number of years at Teradata.

“Arcadia Data’s goal is to help organizations achieve a significant return on their big data investment by enabling them to more easily and rapidly derive insights and build data-centric applications from their data,” said Sushil Thomas, co-founder and CEO at Arcadia Data. “Steve and Amir will be influential in solidifying Arcadia Data’s go-to-market strategy, introducing our visual analytics solution — and making it indispensable — to users around the globe.”

Hein spent the bulk of his career at Quantum where he held a variety of executive positions, finishing his time there as the vice president of marketing. He then moved on to Rocana where he served as the vice president of marketing before joining ExtraHop.

“This is an exciting time to be joining ExtraHop,” said Hein. “The company has established itself as a force in IT data mining and monitoring with an innovative, analytics-based approach and a deep commitment to customer success. I look forward to working with the talented ExtraHop team, as well as our customers and partners, to continue to build our brand and accelerate our growth.”

Manish Jain has joined Reltio as the vice president and general manager, India. He will be responsible for the company’s overall strategy and operations for the region. Jain was recently the vice president of technical operations at Altisource and also spent time at Jamcracker, a company he founded, where he led the company’s Indian operations.

“We’re happy to welcome Manish Jain to the team, and excited for the new opportunities his knowledge and expertise will nurture at our new India office,” said Manish Sood, CEO. “Reltio continues to grow and expand as more companies recognize the value in data-driven applications for enabling better and faster business decisions. Manish’s strengths in building high-caliber functional teams from the ground up and establishing product leadership in fast-moving environments will be an asset in growing Reltio’s India presence.”

He’s held high-level marketing positions at a number of companies including AVAST Software, Webroot Software, Wyse, and Symantec; to name just a few.

“I’ve always had a passion for working with companies that can harness entrepreneurial agility while working through a growth transformation. I believe that Yellowfin is one such company,” said Benham. “I’m looking forward to Yellowfin’s brand and global visibility being in line with its aptitude for BI innovation.”

Seth Greenberg and Scott Jones

Seth Greenberg has been named CMO of Alteryx. He was recently an advisor for data.world but also served as the interim CMO and board director for Bask Technology from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, Greenberg was the CMO for LifeLock.

“Throughout my career, I’ve managed many business analysts and experienced first-hand the pain of inefficient and time-consuming data preparation tasks that preceded their ability to uncover remarkable business results,” said Greenberg. “I am thrilled to join Alteryx and the talented team focused on an amazing self-service analytics product that continues to powerfully transform the personal and professional lives of our customers every day.”

Alteryx has also appointed Scott Jones to the position of chief revenue officer. He joins Alteryx from SAP where he was the senior vice president of midmarket and ecosystem sales for North America. Jones also spent three years at Tableau as the senior vice president, Americas.

“As business needs become more urgent and oriented around data, knowledge workers need a fully integrated platform to access, prepare, analyze and perform advanced predictive analytics with their data,” said Jones. “No one in this space addresses the spectrum of self-service analytics the way Alteryx does, and I am very excited to be joining the great team here, and look forward to engaging with our global customers and partners.”

Ramon Chen

Ramon Chen, CMO and vice president of marketing and product management for Reltio, has joined Bedrock Data’s board of advisors. He’s been with Reltio a little over two years now and was previously the vice president of product marketing at Veeva Systems. He is the fifth addition to Bedrock Data’s board of advisors.

“Bedrock Data is solving an important problem and they are doing it for teams – marketing, sales and support – who are not traditionally well served by IT driven integration platforms,” said Chen.  “Their approach to turnkey multi-directional data synchronization is completely unique. This is helping these teams gain a consistent view of their prospects and customers across multiple SaaS systems.”
