Hortonworks Recognized with HP AllianceOne Award

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 12 — Hortonworks, the leading provider of 100-percent open source enterprise Apache Hadoop, today announced that it has been recognized with an HP AllianceOne Award for HP ConvergedSystems at the HP Discover 2014 conference, taking place June 10-12, 2014 in Las Vegas.

The HP AllianceOne Award for ConvergedSystems recognizes Hortonworks for its strategic relationship and reseller agreement for the Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP). HDP is a key component of HP’s big data platform, HAVEn, which enables customers to deploy a modern data architecture built on Hadoop, powering new applications and supporting existing ones with additional data.
