Hortonworks and Yahoo! Announce Hadoop Summit North America

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 1 — Hosts Hortonworks and Yahoo! today announced that the 8th Annual Hadoop Summit North America, the leading conference for the Apache Hadoop community with content selected by the community for the community, will showcase examples of how Open Enterprise Hadoop is transforming industries. Taking place June 9-11 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, Hadoop Summit North America features 199 speakers across 7 tracks and more than 160 presentations. Attendees will learn about innovative enterprise use cases, development and administration tips and tricks, the cutting edge in project developments from the committers, and how the Apache Hadoop community is accelerating the readiness of Hadoop technology to drive global adoption.
