Beta Release of RapidMiner Cloud Announced

BOSTON, Mass., Aug. 19 — Pioneering predictive analytics leader RapidMiner today announced the beta release of RapidMiner Cloud, which allows businesses to deploy analytics in the cloud with the ease of a single button. RapidMiner Cloud easily integrates more than 300 leading cloud data sources including Amazon S3, Dropbox, Salesforce.com, Twitter, and many other cloud applications to power high value predictive insights and actions. RapidMiner World attendees will witness the first public demonstrations of RapidMiner Cloud this week during the user conference in Boston.

“The scalability offered by elastic computing creates an enormous opportunity for RapidMiner to offload the heavy lifting of processing massive amounts of data securely to the cloud,” said Ingo Mierswa, CEO of RapidMiner. “We’ve partnered with industry-leading cloud providers to provide the world’s most established, capable, and innovative solution for using predictive analytics to maximize the value of their cloud data and deliver cost effective analytics.”

RapidMiner Cloud is the next step in the RapidMiner journey to make it easier for businesses to deploy high value innovative analytics through an elastic cloud-pricing model. This flexibility means customers can determine the right architecture for their changing and evolving business needs. RapidMiner Cloud will be generally available from RapidMiner and its partners in Q4 2014. For a limited time, pricing for RapidMiner Cloud will begin at $39 per month.

RapidMiner’s predictive analytics software helps companies across multiple industries in areas where advanced analytics can make a significant impact, such as churn reduction, fraud detection, predictive maintenance, sentiment analysis and more. Different than competing products, the RapidMiner platform derives its extensibility via source-code availability and integration to other open-source solutions.
