Tabor Communications, Inc. Announces Expansion of the Editorial Team

SAN DIEGO, Calif., August 31, 2020 – Tabor Communications Inc. (TCI) has announced several exciting developments regarding its editorial team born of increased engagement and activity during the prolonged stay-at-home period across the HPCwireDatanami and EnterpriseAI sites.  TCI needed to reinforce the team to maintain the extraordinary coverage of advanced scale systems. Two positive adjustments have been made and Tabor Communications now has a full-time writing staff of seven seasoned professionals and an extensive, global core of twenty contributing editors that help achieve the highest caliber of coverage for our audience.

Oliver Peckham was promoted to Editor across the Tabor portfolio. With a background in climate, science and energy management, Peckham has been covering the intersections of technology, corporate policy and the sciences for over a decade. Following several years as a consultant for corporations and non-governmental organizations, Peckham joined Tabor Communications in 2018. For the past two years, he has helped to extend coverage on HPCwireDatanami and EnterpriseAI with an eye toward highlighting HPC- and AI-driven achievements in scientific fields.

When asked about his promotion and expanded role, Oliver Peckham said, “The news coming out of the supercomputing, big data and AI sectors has perhaps never been more immediately relevant to the public sphere than it is today.” Peckham continued, “It is a privilege to contribute to Tabor Communications’ coverage of these technologies, which are increasingly central to our daily lives and the state of our world.”

TCI is also pleased to announce that Todd R. Weiss has joined the team as Managing Editor of EnterpriseAI. Weiss has been writing about technology for 20 years, covering open source and Linux, high-performance computing, supercomputers, cloud computing, virtualization, containers and microservices, IT security and more. He previously worked as a staff writer for Computerworld and eWEEK and has freelanced for a wide range of tech websites, including TechRepublic, Channel Futures and Channel Partners, Computerworld, PC World, Data Center Knowledge, IT Pro Today, Linux.com and The Linux Foundation. Weiss earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

“I am very excited to join the EnterpriseAI team and to continue the website’s history of delivering intriguing and insightful stories to our readers about the fast-paced world of AI and high-performance computing,” said Weiss. “AI is one of the most fascinating technology topics to cover today and I am thrilled to be part of this journey in the years ahead. I also look forward to readers sharing their ideas for story coverage as they hear of interesting new approaches and ideas in the world of AI and HPC.”
