– Mapbox Geospatial Analytics: Leading mapping and location platform, Mapbox, launched a new innovative Geospatial Analytics Extension that embeds the power of advanced geospatial analysis inside Tableau dashboards. The Mapbox extension allows customers to easily aggregate spatial data into clusters and regular grids or transform the data into voronoi polygons or isobands.

– Automated Insights’ Wordsmith: The natural language generation (NLG) platform from Automated Insights, and Wordsmith, recently introduced a new Tableau Extension that allows customers to embed written analytics directly within their Tableau dashboards, side-by-side with visualizations. The written analysis updates in real time as users explore the dashboard, augmenting customer analysis with clear, insightful context. With Wordsmith, Tableau customers can weave a cohesive story based on the entirety of their data and add a contextual layer to ensure dashboards are more accessible and easily shared.

– DataRobot Insights: Automated machine learning pioneer, DataRobot, rolled out DataRobot Insights, a new Tableau Extension which expedites exploratory analysis. This instantly reveals hidden patterns within the data, highlighting the most relevant variables for further analysis. Tableau users can now easily add AI into dashboards, accelerating analysis time and delivering more accurate, proactive insights that will help enterprises of all sizes spot patterns, identify correlations, and make better predictions with confidence.

– Narrative Science’s Narratives for Tableau: Narratives for Tableau, instantly provides plain-English explanations of visualizations to give analysts a quick and easy way to communicate to dashboard viewers. This functionality allows users to generate interactive natural language stories that explain the insights within their data visualizations. NLG brings data storytelling to the non-technical viewer, helping even more people to work with data.

From technology partners to global system integrators, Tableau’s premier partner community serves as strategic advisors to empower thousands of organizations around the world with the power of data.
