Salesforce Launches Hyperforce EU Operating Zone

SAN FRANCISCO, March 2, 2023 — Salesforce today launched the Hyperforce EU Operating Zone, enabling global customers to store and process their data in the European Union. Building on Hyperforce, Salesforce’s trusted cloud platform, the Hyperforce EU Operating Zone combines Salesforce’s industry-leading products with 24/7 customer and technical support delivered by EU-based personnel.

Offering security and data storage services including zero-trust principles and encryption keys, the Hyperforce EU Operating Zone empowers customers with increased control of their data — to be accessed when, where, and how they intend.

“Our strategy is focused on helping customers meet their business objectives while addressing their regulatory risk,” said Ed Britan, Head of Global Privacy, Salesforce. “The Hyperforce EU Operating zone provides an enhanced level of data residency commitment that means our customers can have the choice and control they need to keep their data within the EU.”

Salesforce continues to expand the global footprint of Hyperforce, which enables Salesforce customers to securely deploy Salesforce apps and services from anywhere while using the scale and agility of the public cloud. Hyperforce is currently live in 12 countries globally and will launch in four further locations by the end of 2023.
