PROS to Showcase Big Data Solutions at Microsoft Global Energy Forum

Feb. 19 — PROS, a big data software company, today announced its participation in the Microsoft Global Energy Forum scheduled for Feb. 20, 2014. The one-day event will be held at Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center. The company plans to provide demonstrations of how PROS solutions on Microsoft platforms help global energy companies use their big data to sell more effectively. PROS will be in booth 709.

Companies in process manufacturing industries around the globe are looking for new opportunities to address the business and technical challenges of analyzing vast amounts of data, using data science and predictive analytics. PROS works with Microsoft to help energy companies leverage big data to forecast demand, optimize prices, and respond more quickly to market volatility.

“The global energy industry is dynamic and complex, and relies heavily on big data and predictive analytics to identify buying patterns and behaviors that enable them to better serve their business-to-business customers,” said PROS Chief Marketing Officer Tim Girgenti. “Our integration with Microsoft technologies provides energy companies with both business insights and agility that enable them to outperform. As the energy capital of the world and PROS headquarters, we are pleased that Houston has again been chosen by Microsoft as the host city for this important industry event.”
