ParStream Appoints Syed Hoda as CMO

CUPERTINO, Calif., June 19 — ParStream, provider of the industry-leading Real-Time Database for Fast Data Analytics, has announced the appointment of Syed Hoda as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Hoda will lead ParStream’s brand and global marketing efforts, including corporate marketing, product/solutions marketing, demand generation, and corporate communications.

Mr. Hoda brings over twenty years of marketing, strategy, and business development experience to ParStream’s leadership team. He has served in senior management positions in North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining ParStream, he was General Manager of the Emerging Solutions Group at Cisco, where he led the start-up and scaling of new, disruptive businesses. He also helped to launch Cisco’s Globalization and Internet-of-Things initiatives and was one of the Chief Storytellers in creating/evangelizing the message. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Hoda worked for CapGemini, Kurt Salmon Associates, and IBM in a variety of marketing, consulting, and business development roles.

Mr. Hoda received his Master of Business Administration from Emory University and Industrial Engineering at Case Western Reserve University for undergraduate studies. He will be based at ParStream’s North American headquarters in Cupertino, CA.
