LONDON, May 26, 2023 – Carruthers and Jackson, a leading global data consultancy firm, has announced the final sponsor partners for this year’s Carruthers and Jackson Summer School for Data Leaders. Multinational technology companies IBM and Microsoft join data security specialists Immuta, management and technology training provider, Corndel, and global technology consultancy Praesto Consulting Group.

Now in its sixth year, the summer school collaborates each year with leading data professionals and technology organizations to provide up-to-the-minute guidance, tutorials, and networking opportunities to one of the largest and fastest-growing communities of Chief Data Officers (CDOs) worldwide. The school brings together the future generation of CDOs to learn from Caroline Carruthers and Peter Jackson, two pioneers of the data business, alongside speakers from sponsor companies, as a free, 10-week online course for aspiring data executives.

“We’re so happy to once again be offering data leaders the chance to join one of the best networking and learning experiences in the industry, and we simply couldn’t achieve without our fantastic sponsors,” said Caroline Carruthers, CEO and Co-Founder of Carruthers and Jackson. “We think that bringing together a community of data professionals to exchange ideas and promote open debates is the best way to foster innovation in data. We’re excited to welcome a new cohort of data professionals to the Summer School community as we continue to foster a global network of data leaders.”

This year’s Summer School will welcome guest speakers from each headline sponsor, including Inderpal Bhandari, Global Chief Data Officer for IBM; Microsoft’s Erik Zweifel, Chief Data and Analytics Officer for Americas, Andrei Zaichikov, Chief Data & Analytics Officer for EMEA and Cumarran Kaliyaperumal, Chief Data & Analytics Officer for APAC; Mark Semenko, Director of Solutions Architecture at Immuta; Tom Neal and Lisa Harty, Commercial Director and Director of Digital Academy respectively at Corndel; and David Atherton, Technical Director at Praesto Consulting Group.

“The role of the CDO in today’s data-driven enterprises continues to increase in importance in relation to business performance and success,” said Mark Semenenko, Director of Solutions Architecture at Immuta. “The C&J Summer School provides the perfect environment for these next generation CDOs to learn from leading global experts across the data ecosystem, enabling them to go back to their businesses with the foundations for creating trust, collaboration and security to unlock the benefits of data at scale.”

“At Corndel, we are thrilled to be a sponsor of the Carruthers and Jackson Summer School for Data Leaders,” said Tom Neal, Commercial Director at Corndel. “This programme provides high-impact skills development for aspiring data leaders to gain valuable insights, practical advice and expand their network. We are committed to supporting the development of the next generation of global data leaders and are delighted to collaborate with Carruthers and Jackson on this innovative initiative.”
