HPCwire and EnterpriseAI to Cover Silicon & Systems for Deep Learning at AI Hardware Summit as Headline Media Partners

SAN DIEGO, Calif., September 13, 2019 — Tabor Communications, publisher of HPCwire, Datanami and EnterpriseAI, has announced that HPCwire and EnterpriseAI will be covering the technology roadmap of emerging AI hardware as headline media partners at the 2019 AI Hardware Summit. The Summit returns to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, September 17-18, 2019, and will feature Alphabet Inc. (Google’s parent company) Chairman John L. Hennessy as the keynote speaker.

The 2019 AI Hardware Summit will promote innovation and adoption of silicon & systems for processing deep learning, neural networks & computer vision, and will feature over 9 hours of dedicated networking time to meet key industry leaders.

“I came to get exposed to a different set of people from the ones I usually meet,” said Cliff Young, Software Engineer at Google Brain. “I know academic people and I know Googlers, but I don’t know the business people and I don’t know nearly as many start up people. So this is a different slice of the community that I only sometimes interact with, where my work is clearly relevant, but I’m usually a few steps removed.”

With sessions from training and inference at scale to going beyond compute, in addition to luminary keynotes, the AI Hardware Summit has established itself as the must-attend event for suppliers and end users in the AI & hyperscale space.

“If you’re developing a chip, you need to be at this conference,” said Karl Freund, Senior Analyst, Machine Learning & HPC at Moor Insights & Strategy. “So for no other reason than just competitive market research, you should definitely be at this event.”
