EnterpriseDB Spotlights EDB Postgres on IBM Power Systems

LAS VEGAS, Nev., March 20, 2017 — EnterpriseDB (EDB) today announced the company will showcase the EDB Postgres Platform on IBM Power Systems at IBM InterConnect 2017. The event will be March 19-23, 2017 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Las Vegas Hotel and the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Timothy Steward, EnterpriseDB Sales Engineer, will join Bob Fiske of IBM and Pat Fleming of Avnet, a leading global technology distributor, in delivering a presentation about the value of EnterpriseDB on IBM Power Systems. Avnet will be explaining how pre-built, pre-optimized POWER8 solutions can provide industry-leading performance advantages over x86 systems. Avnet is collaborating with IBM Power Systems and EnterpriseDB to bring to market optimized, open source POWER8 database solutions that simplify scaling to meet big data processing needs in today’s cognitive computing era.
