AMAX Launches Next Generation of NVIDIA-Powered Deep Learning and Data Analytics Compute Platforms

FREMONT, Calif.March 22, 2019 — AMAX, an NVIDIA Elite Partner and award-winning technology leader of GPU computing solutions, has launched a new generation of big data analytics and machine/deep learning compute platforms at GTC 2019 in San Jose, CA. These solutions feature the latest generation of NVIDIA RTX accelerator cards, powered by Turing architecture, are equipped with Tensor Cores for deep learning acceleration, real-time rendering cores for advanced graphics applications and NVLink Bridge to unify memory between two cards.

The solutions launched include:

ServMax DSW Liquid-Cooled Workstations for Data Science – The new ServMax DSW Liquid-Cooled Workstation is a powerful new GPU-based workstation that accelerates big data analytics, visualization and data science. The sleek and ultra-silent workstation is completely immersed and passively cooled within a resilient metal chassis built to withstand any working environment, and are available in two form factors integrating either a single NVIDIA Quadro RTX GPU or dual. These workstations are fully-optimized with NVIDIA CUDA-X AI software and provide enterprises with accelerated workflows for faster data preparation, model training and data visualization.

ServMax™ QR-240 and QR-480 RTX Servers – AMAX’s ServMax RTX Servers represent the most efficient and scalable GPU-powered rendering solution for on-demand rendering (such as render farms) and virtual graphics workstations via VDI.

The ServMax™ QR-240, a 2U server featuring 4x NVIDIA Quadro GPUs and ServMax QR-480, a 4U featuring 8x Quadro GPUs, are both highly configurable, fully-validated solutions for on-demand rendering and virtualization solutions in the data center. Multiple high-end virtual workstations can be supported with NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Data Center Workstation (Quadro vDWS) software for remote, shared, and multi-GPU configurations. Furthermore, resource partitions can be created to provide both virtual workstations and dedicated render GPUs within a single ServMax RTX server, providing unprecedented rendering and compute performance at a fraction of the cost, space, and power requirements of legacy platforms.

All AMAX GPU-integrated solutions are optimized for specific performance or technical requirements for big data or deep learning applications at any scale.
