Chief Decision Scientist
Cassie Kozyrkov is a data scientist and executive at Google whose mission is to democratize decision intelligence and safe, reliable AI. Cassie attended the University of Chicago where she earned her BA in Economics. She went on to receive her Master’s in Mathematical Statistics from North Carolina State University and her Ph.D. in Psychology and Neuroscience from Duke University. In her early career, she worked as an IT specialist and Decision Science Lecturer and Curriculum Developer before continuing her education and earning a Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics from North Carolina State University.
Cassie then spent 10 years as a Data Science Consultant before becoming at Statistician at Google in 2014. Over the last five years Cassie has progressed within Google moving up from a Statistician to a Technical Director and Chief Data Scientist in the office of the companies CTO. In March of 2018, Cassie was promoted to Chief Decision Scientist for Google.
