University of Tennessee Hosts Business Analytics Forum

Aug. 27 — The University of Tennessee presents its 9^th bi-annual Business Analytics Forum. The Business Analytics Program will host two keynote speakers: Stephen Few, one of the world’s renowned experts and thought leaders on business analytics, quantitative techniques and data analysis and Tim Wilson, a partner at Web Analytics Demystified.

The forum seminar will also include open discussions, small group sessions and the Business Analytics Program job fair for Business Analytics bachelor’s and master’s students. The event will take place Thursday, September 11, 2014, though Friday, September 12, 2014.

Stephen Few

Stephen is an experienced innovator, consultant and educator in the fields of business intelligence and information design. Stephen will conduct an interactive half-day seminar on how to effectively present and analyze quantitative business data. Stephen will speak on September 11, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Tim Wilson

Tim has been working in digital analytics for over 12 years in a diverse range of environments and with a wide range of analytics platforms. Tim will present on Analytics Process Management: From Hypothesis Identification to Organizational Learning. Tim will speak on September 12, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
