TIBCO to Utilize AWS for Cloud Offerings

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 9 — At the AWS Summit San Francisco today, TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in infrastructure and business intelligence software, announced it is “all-in” with Amazon Web Services (AWS), meaning TIBCO utilizes AWS as the core infrastructure for its cloud offerings. By taking advantage of AWS’s rich platform, operational excellence, and rapid pace of innovation, TIBCO is able to focus both on creating solutions that enable its customers to discover the power of analytics as well as offloading the heavy lifting of managing on-premises infrastructure software to the AWS Cloud.

Today organizations are looking for solutions that enable them to react quickly, reduce costs, and better serve their customers. Whether it is gaining insights from customer data or improving customer service, TIBCO has collaborated with AWS to deliver cloud services to help customers uncover insights in powerful new ways. By deploying TIBCO products on AWS, customers achieve high availability, security, and consumption of the offerings in the manner they require.

“We are excited that TIBCO is expanding their commitment to serving our joint customers by supporting their entire product portfolio on AWS,” said Terry Wise, vice president, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “TIBCO continues to be an innovative provider of enterprise class cloud offerings by relying on AWS for their SaaS hosting platform and leveraging AWS Marketplace to remove friction around software procurement and deployment.”

“Businesses are accelerating their pace of deploying new solutions and moving existing workloads to the cloud,” said Matt Quinn, executive vice president, products and technology and chief technology officer, TIBCO. “By building on AWS, TIBCO is able to provide customers access to its Fast Data platform, enabling businesses to take advantage of major technology shifts and seize value from data, both on-premises and in the AWS Cloud.”

“Triumph Learning relies on TIBCO and AWS, and we are pleased to know that TIBCO is focused on using AWS for its core infrastructure for all its offerings,” said Raj Chary, vice president of technology and architecture, Triumph Learning. “When it comes to delivering the right information at the right time, TIBCO software on the AWS Cloud is unmatched. We look forward to their closer alignment for the benefit of our customers.”

TIBCO’s Fast Data platform combines three major assets: data, people, and technology, providing real-time awareness for businesses to take instant action. The Fast Data platform consists of one of the broadest enterprise portfolios of infrastructure and business intelligence software products, and TIBCO is committed to delivering those via AWS. Examples of TIBCO offerings already hosted on the AWS Cloud include tibbr, the social enterprise platform and TIBCO Jaspersoft for AWS, which has been purchased by more than 1,000 customers on AWS Marketplace.
