Talend Appoints New Senior VP of Worldwide Sales

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Feb. 23 — Talend, the global big data integration software leader, today announced the appointment of Brad Stratton to the position of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Stratton is a top performing technology executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in sales management, marketing, business development and sales operations. Stratton will be reporting to Talend’s CEO, Mike Tuchen.

Entering 2015, Talend is coming off of recording the highest total revenues in the company’s history due to a surge in upsells and cross-sells and Talend’s Big Data subscriptions growing 122%.

“Brad has an impressive history of building successful team-driven sales environments that consistently overachieve against aggressive growth targets,” said Mike Tuchen, CEO, Talend. “Having spearheaded many multi-million dollar sales cycles with Fortune 1000 companies throughout the world, Brad clearly has the vision, track record and leadership qualities that we believe will be invaluable to our current and future customers. We are delighted to welcome him to our leadership team.”

Prior to Talend, Stratton spent 12 years in an expanding series of roles at Verint. Most recently, as Vice President of Enterprise Strategic Accounts, he led teams delivering more than $100 million in annual sales. Stratton also held positions at Witness Systems (acquired by Verint) and PTC. Stratton received his B.A. from Colorado College and MBA from University of Minnesota Carlson School.

“This is a tremendously exciting time to be at Talend. We are not only seeing a return from an early commitment to big data and Hadoop, but also from our fundamentally different product approach based on open source technologies and a predictable pricing model,” said Brad Stratton, senior vice president of worldwide sales, Talend. “I fully expect we will set new revenue highs in 2015, as we add more than a 100 new employees to support our market expansion and help empower more companies to turn data about their business and customers into a competitive advantage. In particular, we are expanding our sales team in the U.S. central region and continuing to add new sales members in our growth markets in EMEA, the U.S., and Japan.”

Talend’s integration solutions enable companies to start small and then infinitely scale and adapt to meet the evolving needs of the business. Fully optimized for Hadoop and big data, Talend’s unified product suite combines data integration, application integration, master data management and data quality into a single design environment and metadata set. The solution allows IT teams to easily connect disparate data silos and create the ‘single version of the truth’ that is essential for turning raw data into actionable insights.
