Tableau Further Expands Presence in Europe

PARIS, France, April 16 — Tableau Software today announced it has opened a French office in ParisEdouard Beaucourt, recently appointed Country Manager for France, French Speaking Switzerland and North Africa, will lead the Parisoffice. Tableau opened its first EMEA office in the United Kingdom in 2010 and continues to expand in the region, most recently opening an office in Frankfurt, Germany.

Tableau had tremendous international expansion in 2014. The company reached more than 5,000 customer accounts in the EMEA region in 2014 and more than doubled its headcount to almost 200 employees. Customers based in France include banking firm BNP Paribas, French Red Cross and fifty-five, a French agency specializing in data and analytics for marketing.

“The French speaking market is critical to our European expansion,” said Beaucourt. “Customers located in France represent the third largest number of customer accounts in the EMEA region, behind Great Britain and Germany.”
