StampedeCon Announces Big Data Speakers

ST. LOUIS, Mo., May 12 — StampedeCon 2014, the Midwest’s largest big data conference, is announcing its conference agenda for this spring’s event. Executives, architects, engineers and others will describe practical business and technical aspects of Big Data projects. From analytics to strategies, experts will illustrate how to harness the power of Big Data.

“The science and technology behind Big Data continues to mature. So is how businesses are putting this technology to use,” said Gary Stiehr, StampedeCon founder. “This year’s multiple track format will help companies in all different stages of their Big Data adoption and provide attendees the opportunity to learn about everything from starting a Big Data pilot program to transitioning into production to advanced use cases.”

StampedeCon will run May 29-30 with pre-conference training available May 27-28. The first day will feature three tracks including data analysis tools and techniques, NoSQL databases and query engines, and use cases and implementations. The second day will continue with data analysis tools and techniques, and will also feature discussions on data security and governance.

Separate pre-conference training workshops on Hive, Cassandra, Hadoop and NoSQL database architecture will be provided by Inferology.
