ParStream Selected into Cisco EIR Program

CUPERTINO, Calif., Jan. 22 — ParStream, the Internet of Things (IoT) analytics company, announced today that it has been selected by Cisco into the Cisco Entrepreneurs in Residence (Cisco EIR) program. Cisco EIR is a startup incubation program that recognizes and supports early-stage entrepreneurs focusing on the Internet of Everything (IoE), Smart Cities, Big Data/analytics and other transformational opportunities strategic to Cisco. The program includes resources and opportunities to work with Cisco product and engineer teams, co-working space in Silicon Valley, financial support and potential strategic funding.

ParStream provides the first analytics platform for the IoT. The platform helps companies generate timely, actionable insights from IoT data by providing highly innovative and differentiated ways to analyze streaming and historical data — faster, with greater flexibility and closer to the source.

“We are honored and excited to be selected for the new 2015 cohort of the Cisco EIR program,” stated Peter Jensen, ParStream CEO. “Cisco is clearly one of the key thought leaders for IoT/IoE, hence, there is strong potential synergy with ParStream, the leading analytics platform for IoT. ParStream’s customers are generating more value from their IoT applications by analyzing real-time data and quickly identifying actionable outcomes. The EIR program will help us drive collaboration with Cisco’s business units to identify new opportunities and grow even faster in the IoT space.”
