MicroStrategy Certifies MarkLogic for Real-Time NoSQL Big Data Analytics

TYSONS CORNER, Va.April 10 — MicroStrategy Incorporated, a leading worldwide provider of enterprise software platforms, today announced that it has certified the MarkLogic Enterprise NoSQL database platform to be compatible with, and optimized for, the MicroStrategy Analytics Platform.

The initial focus of the alliance is in the federal and financial services sectors, where the two companies already share a number of common customers that require secure, enterprise-class real-time data analysis. The integration of the two platforms will transform how information–structured or unstructured, stored or streamed, or from internal or external data sources–is leveraged within enterprises.

MicroStrategy has certified MarkLogic 7 with MicroStrategy 9.4.1, enabling business users to quickly and easily leverage enterprise data sources to perform advanced analytics that improve decision-making. MarkLogic is also now part of the MicroStrategy Technology Partner Program, which will allow it to stay current with future releases. MicroStrategy works with its leading technology partners to extend access to MicroStrategy technology, technical resources, marketing and sales support.

“Data is evolving, and enterprises are challenged with managing, integrating, and monetizing all of their data assets,” said Gary Bloom, president and chief executive officer, MarkLogic. “Today’s relational databases can’t keep pace with the ever-changing needs of today’s business requirements. By combining our Enterprise NoSQL database platform and the MicroStrategy Analytics Platform, we’re delivering on a promise of competitive advantage and the capability to do more with massive amounts of enterprise data.”

The combination of the MarkLogic Enterprise NoSQL database platform and the MicroStrategy Analytics Platform allows for deep analysis with advanced visualizations of enterprise data, including streaming, real-time sources. Organizations can store, access and visualize massive amounts of data, from any source and in any format, to make better-informed business decisions to increase revenue, streamline operations, improve situational awareness, and mitigate risk.

“MicroStrategy is pleased to welcome MarkLogic to our Technology Partner Program,” said Paul Zolfaghari, President, MicroStrategy Incorporated. “As organizations look to leverage varied sets of data, there is a greater need than ever to deliver powerful analytics solutions that can take advantage of all types of data assets, relational and otherwise, and in real-time. Our collaboration with MarkLogic underscores this need in the marketplace.”
