DataStax CEO Joins Tableau’s Board of Directors

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 1 — DataStax, the company that delivers Apache Cassandra to the enterprise, today announced that DataStax CEO, Billy Bosworth, has been appointed to Tableau Software’s Board of Directors. Tableau Software is a global leader in rapid fire, easy-to-use business analytics software.

Prior to joining DataStax, Bosworth held positions at Quest Software, a provider of systems management software, from June 2005 to May 2011, where his most recent role was Vice President and General Manager of the database business unit. Bosworth holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Louisville.
