Cloudera to Expand Presence in Asia

SHANGHAI, China, Dec. 11 – Cloudera, the leader in enterprise analytic data management powered by Apache Hadoop, announced the opening of new offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, China. The new sites will help accelerate Cloudera’s presence in China and Asia, addressing current and growing customer demand for Hadoop-based solutions. Local talent focused on research and development support (R&D) will contribute to the design, development, release and maintenance of Cloudera’s industry-leading products and services. Cloudera will provide local customers with access to high-quality technology to build their own enterprise data hubs.

Cloudera offers services and training to promote the growth of big data in the Chinese market. The new offices will be comprised of a variety of functions including research and development support, customer support, professional services, IT, sales and marketing and partner alliances.
