Bull and CustomerMatrix Announce Partnership for Delivering Big Data Applications

PARIS, France & NEW YORK, N.Y., July 15 — Bull and CustomerMatrix today announced a strategic partnership to integrate the world’s first enterprise cognitive application from CustomerMatrix into Bull Big Data Analytics offering. It empowers Bull’s customers to quickly and cost-effectively deliver ultra-relevant contextual insights and enabling them to take actions directly to frontline employees.

CustomerMatrix agile approach to Big Data Analytics is unique in the world at deploying and quantifying in weeks the exact return-on-investment (ROI) of each data-driven customer initiative. The solution is focused on extracting and measuring value from existing data and infrastructure investments, to showcasing direct ROI based in the form of increased revenue, customer loyalty, and responsiveness of the employees. The CustomerMatrix application allows Bull to provide highly differentiated services within their Big Data applications based on 4 core pillars: Innovation, Operational Excellence, Customer Intimacy, and Trust.

“Thanks to this decision support solution, we are able to identify in near-real-time the emerging issues of customers, which allows, for example, our call center agents to be proactive on their resolution,” says Frederic Boulenger, Alliance Director at Bull. “It also enables them to improve the quality of client engagement, and anticipate the reason for the call with a more intimate understanding of the customer need. Fortune 500 companies which are required to make quick day-to-day decisions in an operational context will be particularly interested in this type of solution.”

CustomerMatrix cognitive computing technology, powered by Open Source Big Data technologies Solr and Hadoop, uses deep machine learning (systems that learn from data in an unsupervised fashion), adapts to a growing and ever-changing dataset, and tolerates a noisy and incomplete context to recommend the best possible action. It allows the synthesis of all existing workflows and analytics for real-time distribution of lessons learned in context, thus creating a powerful collective intelligence network across the organization.

“It is an honor to have our Big Data Analytics solution be selected by Bull, a recognized leader in this domain,” said Guy Mounier, CustomerMatrix CEO and a founding member of the Cognitive Computing Consortium based in Boston. “This strategic partnership validates our approach and our ability to further differentiate the Big Data offering of Bull.”
