Teradata Selected by Advance Auto Parts for Enterprise-Class Analytics

DAYTON, OhioApril 29 — Teradata Corporation, the big data analytics and marketing applications company, announced that Advance Auto Parts, Inc., the largest automotive aftermarket parts provider in North America, serving both the professional installer and do-it-yourself customers, has selected Teradata as the vendor of choice for its Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Advance Auto Parts will leverage the EDW to aggregate data from multiple sources to perform advanced analytics and help drive the business. The new Teradata platform at AAP includes testing as well as production and will leverage the Teradata Americas Data Migration Center of Expertise.

From the beginning, the Teradata team assisted Advance Auto Parts in setting up the benchmark environment and working collaboratively, transferring knowledge as the benchmark progressed.
