WIT Inc., a Business Intelligence (BI) consulting firm, will host the Great Lakes BI and Big Data Summit on March 14, 2013 at the Westin Hotel in Southfield, MI.
The one-day inaugural conference will offer two tracks -- business case studies and technology vendor presentations -- covering topics such as:
- Agile and In-Memory BI
- Big Data
- Innovations in BI Technology
- Mobile BI
- Real World Business Cases
- Unstructured Data
Keynote speakers will include Wayne Eckerson and Donald Farmer. Eckerson, formerly of The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI) will be speaking about, "The Big Data Revolution: Integrating Big Data in BI Ecosystems." Farmer, a former BI leader at Microsoft and now the Vice President of Product Management at QlikTech, will be discussing "BI for the Right Side of the Brain."
Business case presentations from great Michigan-based organizations include Haworth, Kelly Services, Oakland University and Quicken Loans. Cheezburger from California will also discuss key successes in BI. Vendor sponsors include Attivio, iDashboards, Microsoft, QlikTech and SAS.
